My Story

      Born & raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Matt Johnson AKA Sicka Sin overcame the street lifestyle from using & dealing drugs at young age. Signed to a secular rap label at the age of 14, he glorified sex, money, & drugs in his music. “I didn’t care about anything when I was in living for the world. I was truly headed down a path of destruction”. One day he was headed to New Orleans to pick his son up & he cried out & asked God, "Why am I not where I need to be in my music career?” (Being that he had been rapping at this point for nearly 13 years & had made a household name for himself... just couldn’t quite get over the hump).

       God told him clear as day... "You've been talking about the wrong things all this time, and if you were to glorify my name (God) in every thing you do, I'll bless you more than you can imagine." He instantly stopped rapping for the devil. It was a process, but he stopped cursing, talking about selling & using drugs, stopped running women in out his life... with God's help, he changed his ways. Then, at the age of 25, he got saved & gave his life to God. He now ministers the Gospel through music in which God called him to do & he offers a powerful message of hope and sanctification in Jesus name.
