1.  Each Song submitted must be the contestants original work.  Songs may not exceed 5 minutes in length.  Songs may have multiple co-writers, but please designate only one contact name on the application.  Contestant may submit as many songs in as many categories as he/she likes.  However, each entry requires a separate cassette, CD, MP3 file, entry form, lyric sheet, and entrance fee.  The entrance fee is non-refundable.  Stone Tablet is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen, or misappropriated entries.  Stone Tablet is not responsible for faulty file uploads accompanying online entries.

2.  Contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters alike.  No one is excluded on the basis of race, creed, color, employment, or otherwise.

3.  Winners will be chosen by a select panel of producers, promoters, songwriters and music industry professionals.  The panel of judges will be posted on the site.  Songs will be judged based on melody, composition, and lyrics, (when applicable).  The quality and production of the performance will not be considered.

4.  Winners will be notified through the contact information supplied by them on the entry form.   Winners will be posted on the website 15 working days, beginning the first working day after the deadline date.  All winners must sign an affidavit stating the song is an original work, and that he/she holds the rights to the song.  Affidavit of winners 18 years or younger, must be countersigned by parent, or legal guardian.  Affidavit subject to verification by Stone Tablet and it's agents.  Entry constitutes permission to use Artists photo, bio, and contact information on the Stone Tablet "Elite Artist Tree", understanding this tree will grow over time, and is considered perpetual to our promotional theme.

5.  The Songs will not be returned, and  will be disposed of after all contest winners, and runners up are chosen, verified, and posted.

Entry Requirements Include:

1) Song 5 minutes or less (MP3, CD, or Cassette)

2) One lyric sheet for every song accompanied with words.

3) Entrance fee payment $25.00 per song

4) A completed application
